The hotel has nice views of the San Francisco skyline, but the rooms are a bit dated and could use some work. The service was quite helpful and kind, although some instances seemed disrespectful for such a well-respected hotel. The location is right on one of the main Cable Car lines, making it convenient for our needs but requires effort due to the steep hill. The dining experience was excellent but slightly overpriced. The facilities need improvement.
